The Simply Splendid Skirt…the Serger Way

This is an intermediate level serger class. We will be completing a skirt that includes elastic insertion, adding a ruffle, and finishing not only our seams but also our project, in short order. This cute pattern makes a cool, comfortable skirt in a very short time so you are set free to enjoy it.

Simple Swing Jacket

It’s that time of year when, we hope, there will be a little chill in the air. Join us in making this easy mid-hip Swing Jacket by Indygo Junction. The jacket has many options – you can construct it with collars and closures or without. There are also areas to use your imagination to embellish or embroider and there are NO SET-IN SLEEVES!

Serger Laptop Case

Instructor: Katie Wolf
Join us in Serger Club to create a case for your laptop computer that is really “you”. First, we will decorate our fabric using the chainstitch, coverstitch and flatlock with various decorative threads or yarns. Then we will construct the case, and even install zippers – all on a serger.

Serger Club is presented once a month at 3 Cathey’s Locations.
The 3rd Monday of the month we will hold Serger Club at: Roger 9:30 - 11:30 or 1:00-3:00
The 4th Monday of the month: Speedway 1:00-3:00 or Broadway 5:00-7:00
