We have a big treat in store for you!
Beverly Anderson is returning to Cathey’s
to teach some special classes.
First, on Saturday, September 13 from 11:00-Noon at our
Broadway store, she will demonstrate the new Couching Foot Set.
Second, on Saturday, October 11 from 11:00-Noon at our Broadway
store, she will demonstrate decorative stitching on a Christmas
place mat. See what your machine can really do.
Did you receive the wonderful Grand Dream or Majestic hoop with your
new Pfaff Creative Vision or Viking Designer Diamond? On October
25th, from 1:00-3:00 at our Speedway store Bev will be using the
designs that come with the hoops and teach you to use those as well
as how to combine smaller designs to form one larger design.
Rehooping is not necessary. (We will not sew out the designs in
class because of time constraints. Remember the sewing machine will
save the design you create.) There will be samples and step-by-step
instructions so you can go home and do this by yourself. You can
bring your machine and hoop (if you own them) to follow along during
the class. The cost for this presentation is $25.00. As usual, some
refreshments will be provided. Be sure to sign up early as classroom
space is limited.
Sew You Need to Get Organized . . .
Are you buried in bobbins? Is the fabric of your sewing life
falling apart due to disorganization? Find the thread that keeps it
all together with Professional Organizer Ori Parnaby. In this
hour-long interactive workshop, learn to create a sewing space that
inspires you to create your dream projects. Ori will teach you
simple techniques that will help tame your sewing area and reclaim
your space.
Who is Ori? She has been organizing as long as she can remember. She
holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and loves to help people
tackle their clutter. Ori lives with her very organized husband and
two sons who are learning to put everything in its place.
