This is the first class for owners of the Pfaff/Viking 5D Embroidery
Extra software where we will get started learning the basics of this
software. You will learn to combine and manipulate embroidery
designs and lettering. You will start to explore the easy to use
express wizards that automatically help you personalize your
garments and quilts. Classes are free of charge if software was
purchased at Cathey’s. A fee of $150 will be charged for classes if

Floriani Project
Class Fee: $25
Each month we will
receive a different project from Kathi Quinn of Floriani using
different sections of either Embroidery Suite or Total Control. You
can create the project with either one of these programs. We will
follow Kathi’s instructions outlined in a video and create the
project in sections. After we have created our masterpiece, we will
watch another video that explains how to digitize it. This class
will be held at the Varsity Club as long as there is more than 10
attendees.

Floriani Software Suite offers a vast amount of tools and options to
create and modify your embroidery designs. This is the first class
for owners of Floriani Software Suite. This class will provide
information on how to interpret the software icons, the Properties
box, the Sequence View, Design Library and the built in fonts and

cover the powerful Save 2 sew feature, digitizing with the Magic
wand, and optimizing entry and exit points to achieve gap free
