Connie’s Pre-Sewing Basics
Instructor: Connie Shaw
Class Fee: $30
This is a one-time class to help those who have never sewn, have
minimal experience, or even more experienced sewers. It is a
prerequisite for all those who wish to continue in Connie’s sewing
classes. We will cover the operation of your sewing machine, sewing
tools, basic stitches, seams, pattern selection and fabric. After
class students will have the skills to select fabric and notions for
a project of their choice to make in the follow-up sewing classes.

Pre-sew class is a requisite for this class. All levels of
sewing ability are welcome, beginners included. This class has a
flexible format and is geared to the individual student. Choose to
make a garment, a home dec item or a craft project. Discuss with
Connie ahead of time about project to be made.

Rose’s Pre-Sewing Basics

you. Specializing in Silhouette patterns, you can have pants,
blouse, jacket, vest, or skirt that fit you. Call for a consultation

Make Your Own Jeans that Fit!
Instructor: Rose Skelly
Class Fee: $50 / Pattern: $16
You can make a pair of jeans
that not only look store bought but they will fit you too! The first
class will be devoted to fitting a jeans muslin. In the second class
you will learn tricks and techniques for easy assembly and learn to
make your jeans look professionally made.

Yoga Pants Class

For a day of shopping, relaxing at home or
taking a class at the gym this is the most comfortable pant you will
ever wear. It is as easy to sew as it is to wear. You won’t be able
to make just 1 pair!

T-shirts are a closet staple, but a t-shirt with a great fit
