Make and use one of these by your sewing
machine(s) and/or serger. A pincushion holds the bag on the table
and keeps it open to put in all those threads you have cut. You may
want to make more than one for yourself or for gifts.

Market Bags

We all read it in the newspaper earlier this year. Americans use
more than 100 billion plastic bags each year and less than 5% are
recycled. You can be part of the solution by making reusable market
bags. This class is not only good for the environment but great fun
as well.

Thread Catcher

What a great gift! What a great helper!
What a great project for even a beginner to finish in two hours.
Come join us and we’ll have fun making something useful and still
easy. We will make a thread catcher/pin cushion which will help us
keep our sewing room floors both cleaner and safe. It’s ever so
cute!

Heirloom Open Sew

This new open format
class is designed for all skill levels of heirloom sewing. Each
month I will demonstrate a new “heirloom” technique. You will have
the opportunity to purchase a small kit so that you can practice the
technique too! In class I will be available to answer your questions
and guide you through your projects.

4D Software Block of the Month
Instructor: Mary Gajeske
Class Fee: $20

Increase your knowledge of the Pfaff/Viking
Creative 4D Software! Each month we will create a quilt block using
the many features in the 4D software. This will teach you new skills
and you will create beautiful designs using the many shapes, fonts,
and embroidery designs that are included with the Creative 4D Suite.
You need to have a minimum of 4D Embroidery Extra. We will be using
other modules from the 4D Suite as well but they are not a class
requirement. At the end, you will have twelve blocks to create a
beautiful quilt or project of your choice.
Sign up for a minimum of the first six (6) classes is required.
Hurry and sign up because the classes start in September and will
fill up fast.
